Happy Clinic’s pathway

1. Prepare: its FAQs describe direct booking without a GP referral. Expect identity checks, health information and possible questionnaires or supporting history.
2. Assessment: one 60-minute appointment is listed. More information or another appointment may be needed before the clinician reaches a conclusion.
3. Prescribing and titration: treatment is a clinical decision. The published 20-minute review is used for initiation or adjustment where appropriate. No guaranteed number of visits is published.
4. Stabilisation and shared care: its terms describe considering a request after stability, typically at least three months at an optimal dose, with clinician discretion. This is not a three-visit rule.
5. After the decision: until the GP agrees in writing, prescribing remains private. Ask for your review schedule and continuing costs in either case.

A budget example, not a treatment schedule
